What would you do?

I have two toddlers - a boy and a girl. Each time we go out to eat, the girl decides to act up and once she starts, the boy follows suit. It is very frustrating, eating and trying to control them. Today, immediately we sat down at the restaurant, she started messing with the sauces on the table. I asked her to stop but as usual, she continued doing what she wanted to do. I ordered food for them, she abandoned the food. This happens all the time. I actually told my husband that today will be the last day I will order food for them because to me, it is as if I am wasting money and these kids do not just get it. Anyway, she ended up crying, making noise and you can imagine how embarrassed I was. Please tell me, if you are in my shoes, will you keep ordering food for them?

I don't order food for my 2 year old-- at least, not his own meal. If it is fast food, I just value size mine. If it is in a sit-down restaurant, I just order an extra side.
For 2 toddlers I'd order 1 meal for them to spilt, and if they don't eat it, bring it home and offer it to them again.

Hope this helps!

Lauren I agree with you,I would order one meal for my kids to split when they were little. Now that they are older I will order them seperate meals. My 5 year old is sometimes pleased with fries only. Ebele how old are your kids?

Oh i know how you feel. My 6 year old does this all the time and it is so aggreviating. She wants to be in everyone elses business and she will order her food and when it comes out she flat out refuses to eat it. I to have told my husband from here on out she can eat off our plates because it is a waste of money. You are not the only one in this position.
