This Week

After my earlier post, my husband and I had a very long, very blunt conversation.

Things are much better now. My mom asked me if she could take my 2 year old for the week, as she is on vacation, and I let her because I know he will have a blast. My sister (18) and my stepsister (16) love playing with him, and my mom loves to take him to the park and activities and such. I called a little while ago to check on him, and they are all in the pool and he LOVES the water. We took him over there yesterday, and will be picking him up on Sunday most likely. I miss him like crazy, but its nice to have a bit of quiet. Its the longest amount of time he's ever been away from me. I'm sure he'll be fine though.

My husband has cleaned every room in the house. Well, almost, he's about to go clean the kitchen. However, because he is doing that, that leaves me with only the laundry, which is no problem. I've gotten almost completely caught up on school work, and I am so much more relaxed. I took my history exam yesterday with no interruptions, and I am almost sure I aced it. I have a spanish exam to take within the next few days, so I'm going to be studying for it, but having less to do around the house will make it easier.

We are also most likely going to go to Six Flags to celebrate our anniversary. We were planning on going next week, but since my mom has Aidan, it would make more sense to go this week. I think going to Six Flags will be a fun, inexpensive, yet memorable way to spend our 3 year wedding anniversary. What do you guys think?

I hope everyone is having a good week so far!

Happy Anniversary!!!! It sounds like your going to have a nice week. Enjoy your baby being gone. Even when you think your going to get bored, do something for yourself that you used to do before child days. I always find it fun.

Lauren, you must be having a blast this week - your son is with your mom, and your husband cleaned the whole house. You are really on top of the world now. You know what, you have to make the most out of this week because it does not come by easily. Have fun and enjoy your anniversary. Happy anniversary!!
