These online courses are killing me!

I don't know what's wrong with me, but I am struggling with these online classes. I think I under estimated the whole thing. I am taking five classes online and every time I get on there is a new assignment to do. I think it would have been better for me to go to campus and actually learn then to do the classes online and try to teach myself. Sometimes I don't understand the assignment and have no way of getting any help. This sucks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have taken a lot of online classes, so if you need help, try and ask your teacher in an email directly on webct. I also can help you, I spent the last two years on webct mainly for my bachelor's from Clayton and that school required that we have a computer, so I learned a lot from being thrown in with the wolves! I suspect that is the way you feel. Please try your teachers, that is what they are there for! Don't be shy, if you don't understand, ASK! You can email me on our site if you need help! Smile, it will be over before you know it.....

You are taking 5 classes!! Geez! I am taking three and feel overwhelmed. Especially since I missed the first essay in this class. This is my first time doing online classes, and it is taking me a little time to catch on. I think I am finally getting the hang of it though. Good luck to you in the future!

I took three online classes in spring of '07. I thought I was going crazy. We had so many discussions, assignments, writings and readings but at the end, it all worked out. Just take it easy and do the best you can.

Ok, you need to drop at least 2 of the classes. Yes, you'll get a W, but that's better than getting an F. The thing about online classes is that you have to spend TWICE as much time studying than if you took the classes in person. You also have to be really self-disciplined.

ONE of my online professors is very clear. He expects us to spend at least 20 hours a week studying for HIS class. Imagine if I was taking 5 classes!!

So my suggestion would be to definitely scale back! You'll be much better off in the long run.

I was going to attempt four classes this semester, but I started to realize it was too much. I had to drop my math class. I didn't mind too much, I really hate math. I have had to plan out ahead of time what assignments I am going to do on what day. I have had to be very organized. Good luck to you!

I know exactly waht you are feeling. I feel the same way. I am taking three classes and feel like I cant keep my head above water. I am having a hard time with organization, I think that is a part of my problem. Thanks for blogging, at least I know that I am not alone. Good luck.
