Indiana Jones....UGH

Hello All,

I saw the latest Indian Jones film. I,of course, had to see this film, even though everyone said it was awful! It is an iconic film and part of my childhood movie memories... I am giving away my age...Thirties..I won't give away the plot if any of you want to see it, but I will say that it has a slight SCI-FI aspect to it. Let me just say I HATE SCI-FI, especially when a movie is very interesting until they break out the alien crap! When I told my best friend about the movie and I mentioned the word alien, she immediately said "oh you hated it" She knows me all too well. I have a hard time with things like this because it ususally does not fit into the plot and thus ruins the movie for me! Also, this movie was chessy, another one of my pet peeves! I am going to see Sex and the City next...

My boyfriend was saying he wanted to see this movie. I thought it would be stupid. I am glad you wrote this blog, now I have a good arguement against him when I tell him we are going to see "Sex in the City"

Ugh, I had heard that it had aliens too. I'm not going to go see it, but I definitely wouldn't mind seeing Sex and the City! You should give us a review after you go see it.

I HATE SCI-FI too!!! I would never thought a Indiana Jones movie would have a sci-fi twist. My friend said Sex in the City was really good, so I think you will get your money worth on that one.

I am glad you told us about Indiana Jones I think i'll wait until it comes out on DVD. The whole alien thing throws me off a little. I am not a big fan of alien movies either. On the other hand,I saw Sex in the City and I thought it was a really good movie. I have never seen the tv show before and I still enjoyed the movie.

I haven't liked any of the previous Indiana Jones movies because I find them very predictable, but I would much prefer a simplistic Sci-Fi flick than a made-from-tv movie. Especially when such a movie is about the extremely personal habits of women older than my mother.

Most movie prequels are not as good compare to the original. I wasn't surprise that the Indiana Jones was terrible.
