If this week was not already bad enough

I know that everyone has experienced a time in their life where they feel that everything is falling down on top of them. Well i have had one of those weeks. Week started off with my husbands 99 year old Grandmother who lives with us falling and hitting her head that required her being taken in by ambulance and receiving 5 staples. My baby has come down with the summer nasty cold this week and has been extremely fussy and not sleeping good at all. To top all this off and it is only Thursday i just received a phone call from my oldest sons school that a child in his class has become extremely ill and tested positive for TB. I just made a doctors appointment to have my son tested tomorrow and he is walking around looking like he is in the dumps because he says if he has it he has infected everyone he loves. I have explained to him that the chance that he caught it is probably very slim. I don't know how else to explain to him to where he wont feel so bad. I hope the rest of the week goes better for me. I have already sat and cried to many times this week and i hate the feeling of being so overwhelmed to where i end up crying. I hope that all my classmates and instructor are having a wonderful week and staying cool.

I can totally understand how you feel! I too feel overwhelmed, but for different reasons! I have the major issue of trying to work and keep up with my bills and five classes. And I have noone to blame but myself for taking five classes! What was I thinking? The fact that you have children really makes life harder and I give you kudos for dealling with all that and still remaining sane! This may sound strange, but if you want more information on TB, go to the CDC website and type TB. This may be able to help to explain to your son and help him feel better about it... I am sure you can explain it to him in easier "mommy" terms. :)

Wow! It must be in the water! I have had a very stressful week also. I am looking forward to a nice weekend where I can spend some time with my family. I work Mon.-Fri. from 8am to 5pm. I am taking 4 classes on line and one class at Dunwoody campus. I have a husband and 2 small children. This is my very first year of college, ever, and I am so overwhelmed. Like Jacky, I have only myself to blame. My only suggestion to both of you is, have good weekend. My husband and I are taking the kids to the Atlanta Zoo on Saturday. I can't wait to spend some time with them.

Hi,
I can understand how u feeling right now. But dont worry everything will be alright. Just think its a bad patch going in your life which will be over soon. You need to be stronger this time. Everyone goes through these kind of phases in their lives. I have a very busy scheduled too. I work full time and i am taking four classes online first time in Gpc life, and i am thousand of miles away from my family. Now i am realizing how tough is this to keep up with everything. Just be positive, and do what you can do.

You must take him to doctor for check up.But you can go online and can find thousands of website which will explain you everything in detail about T.B and than you can explain it to your son.

I really feel what you are going through this time. I have been there before. One thing I would like you to know is that this is one of life's experiences. You go through it, and come out of it stronger than ever. Just stay positive, everything will be fine. Take care, and may the remainder of the week be a blessing to you

OK that's a lot!!!

I think a primal scream would help. I hope you have some free time somewhere. Yes?

You just have to think positive. If you think negative all the time then negatives things will appear. like The Sounds Of Blackness will say on there song " As long as you keep your head to the sky, you will win !"
