I want this dog

I have been looking at these Weimaraner puppies for about 4 years. This is the only dog I will accept in my home. I am not a dog person, but I really want this puppy. I saw them about 6 years ago. I thought they were the cutiest things. Then 4 years ago, I saw one at the pet store and it was LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT. Everytime I see one my heart melts. The problem is I never owned a dog, These dogs require a lot of exercise. I live in an apartment. Oh, did I mention these dogs can get up to 70 lbs. . What do I do??????????????

I do not advise you to get the dog because of the size. Meanwhile, I prefer the second picture.

I suggest that you do more research on these dogs. They are wonderful dogs and usually very friendly. They require a lot of exercise and if they don't get it, they may tear up your house. I have a lab and he needs exercise and he is very good with children and other pets. He is my first dog, but I did research on him before I bought one and asked myself the important questions, such as would I be able to take care of him properly. Don't forget that having a dog is not cheap! And to have a puppy is even more work..They are essentially babies! They wine and cry and piddle on the floor. I love animals, but they are an investment and remember that they will be with you for at least the next ten years. Hope I gave you some things to think about! And yes, those pups are so cute!

If your a busy person I advise that you wait on getting a dog. They take a lot of your time and money.

I agree with Jacky about doing more research. It would not be fair to have an active dog in an apartment. If you find that the Weimaraner is not the best dog for you, there are a lot of really cute dogs in shelters that need homes. You can check out websites and see if there is a dog you might like. You might find the perfect apartment dog. I know you have your heart set on the Weimaraner, but you never know what you will find.

I think you should go for it. If that is what you truly want. They are beautiful, the only problem is the size of your apartment. The dog will be all over everything because they will need alot of room.

Maybe a smaller dog will catch your interest? :)
