Gas Prices
I cannot believe how much the gas has gone up to. We are paying $4.10. When my husband came home from work tonight and told me he put in $92.00 of gas in his car this morning i almost had a heart attack. He has been out of work since this weekend due to our son being in the hospital so today was his first day back. I was like hunny this was your first day back to work this week and you put how much in again. I guess it is a good thing i am a stay at home mom and we don't drive both our vehicles on a daily basis or we would be broke between gas and feeding 6 people. How is everyone else dealing with the gas prices and going to work? My husband said there are several guys with the union that have taken a voluntary layoff due to the drive they make to work from where they live with the gas prices.

here at my job we have been given the option to work a 10/4 work week. However I can not do that because it would be difficult with my kids. I am going to try and telework a couple of days a month. It is hard feeding 4 people so I know it is hard for you. I refuse to fill my car up, once I hit the 30-40 mark I stop and usually only end up with half a tank. We definately need to be praying.
That makes me so glad I have a small car. I can put about 40 dollars in and that will last me a little over a week. I only work about 15 min away from home.
For the future, you definitley need a two door coupe because gas might reach up to six dollars a gallon in the next few years.
