Atlanta and its lovely traffic

Hi, Everyone. I have to vent for a minute. I live up Ga 400 at Northridge and am attending Decatur campus for two labs (FAR). The schedule worked out better than the Dunwoody campus near my house. It's strange, but I am taking anatomy I lab over even though I passed because I want a better letter grade. I did not like my last lab professor, the one I have now is awesome and fun! I got an "A" in lecture last semester in the class and a "C" in lab and I studied my butt off. It does not help that I work full time and am a trainer at where I work, so I have extra responsibilities. I am also taking anatomy II online and a anatomy II lab at Decatur also. Any of you who want to get into nursing school, I suggest you make mostly "A"s because it is very competitive, thus my taking over my anat lab. Okay I'll get to the point! I had to drive on 285 and I have not in a LONG time. What a disaster and all those tractors trailers.I felt like I needed a drink after..lol..I am sure some of you are not old enough to drink( not that you don't :), but those of us who are can understand! I like that this is called "my freshman year" since I was a senior twice and I am reverberating back to being young again.Sort of......Why I ask myself, do I keep going back to school to get more degrees and torturing myself? Oh yeah, I don't love my current job at all! Have a great day all!

You shouldn't have a job you don't like, even if you need one really bad. It's a stressor people don't think about nor do they need. :)

I think traffic is getting worse generally everywhere, at least in Georgia. I encounter a lot of "my commute is worse than yours and has more traffic" arguments all the time and I don't really see a clear winner for anyone. Such is life!

I'm fortunate to live only 4 miles from my job but it takes me 15-20minutes to drive to work.

Caitlin,

Sometimes you have to have that job to pay the bills! So in a way my job motivates me to "get with it" at school. I live up 400...how about you? and I work in Buckhead..people are always telling me that the traffic where I live and work is bad.. I told them, hang out on 285 for awhile..lol. So things could be worse..I just read that Atlanta is #1 in the category of worst commute by a Forbes Study. Last year we were second. Moving on up eh? Have a great day
